How do I edit my account information?

You can edit your email address, shipping address and billing information from the “My Account” page.

What do I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, please visit the “My Account” page or click on the Forgot Password link on the Login page. We’ll send you an email to reset your password.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, visit the “Account Details” tab. This tab be accessed at any time by clicking on My Account in the top navigation when you are logged in.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account, go to the Account Settings section under the “My Account” tab and click on the Delete Account link. You’ll be asked to enter your password and press delete. Once you do that, your account will be deleted permanently and cannot be restored.

How can I change the number of emails I receive or unsubscribe?

You can modify your email preferences from the My Account page under the “Newsletter Subscriptions” tab. This is also where you can choose your preferences for our New Arrivals emails!

Can I create multiple accounts?

At this time, we only allow one account per person. If a user is found to have multiple accounts, this may result in order cancellations, removal of credit and/or account banning at the discretion of Design Theatre.

How do I make a purchase?

Shopping at Design Theatre is easy:
– If you know what you are looking for, use the links as per what you want. You can also shop by browsing directly by designer.
– Once you have found an item, select your size and click on the ‘ADD TO SHOPPING BAG’ button underneath each item.
– Review the items in your shopping bag by clicking the ‘SHOPPING BAG’ link at the top of the page. You can use the ‘REMOVE FROM CART’ link to delete items from your shopping bag.
– Click on ‘PROCEED TO PURCHASE’ to complete your order.

Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

Yes. You can browse through the collection without creating an account and select merchandise you like. But, to be able to buy, you need to set up an account which is a fairly easy process.
Register with us and you’ll be able to enjoy the following benefits through your Design Theatre account:
– Track your orders and review past purchases
– Request your return or exchange directly from your account
– Save your address and card details so you can shop even quicker next time
– Manage your account details, address book and email preferences
– To create an account, simply click on ‘SIGN IN’ and then ‘REGISTER NOW’ to fill in your details.


Is the item in the photo the actual item I'd be receiving?

Yes! All of the photos on our website are taken by the designers, so what you see is exactly what you get directly from designers.

What does it mean if any product is ‘out of stock'?

Because each item on our site is unique and if it is out of stock you can mail us at care@designtheatre.in and we can contact the concerned designer and revert you as soon as possible if the back order is possible.

How often is new inventory added?

We are constantly adding new items, so check back often since no two items are exactly alike. What you see today will be different from what is available any other day. As we like to say here, “Every item is a snowflake!”

How do I know that the products you sell are authentic?

As an authorized online distributor for all of the designers we feature, we unconditionally guarantee that every item we sell is 100% authentic.
Please note that we are unable to comment on the authenticity of any items not purchased from Designtheatre.in.

Which size should I choose?

All products are sold by the international sizing scheme used by the designer. To convert this to your usual size, simply click on the ‘size conversion chart’ link which you will find on every product page.
As sizes can vary greatly by designer, we have also provided the actual dimensions of each product for you to compare with your own body measurements. Where an item runs small or large to size, this will be identified within the ‘size & fit’ tab on every product page.
In addition, our customer care team can answer all your questions on sizing and fit – simply email care@designtheatre.in for advice.

Are the colours of products shown on the website accurate?

While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on the Site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen’s display of any colour will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary.


What payment methods does Design Theatre accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Maestro credit and debit cards.
We also have Cash on Delivery and Net Banking options.
Please note that we do not accept any other methods of payment apart from those listed above.

Is it safe to use my credit card online at Design Theatre?

At Design Theatre, your personal online security is important to us. We use the latest SSL encryption technology to store and safely transmit your personal and credit card information through our systems. All orders are processed through a secure checkout system. Additionally, for your safety and protection, we will confirm that the billing address you provide matches the address on file with your credit card company.
You may also choose to securely store your credit card details with us. This means you will not have to enter them again during future purchases, making it quicker and simpler to shop at Design Theatre.

Why do I need to re-enter my credit card details when I add a new address?

For your security, whenever you request delivery to a new address we will ask you to provide new credit or debit card details (if you have previously stored them with us). This means that if someone guesses your password and tries to make an order using your account, they will be unable to do so. We hope you understand that this is a valuable precaution designed to protect your personal information.

How do I remove saved credit card details?

There are two ways to remove previously saved credit card details:
– Edit or add new shipping or billing address.
– During your next purchase, simply ‘UNSELECT’ the option ‘REMEMBER MY PAYMENT DETAILS’ on the payment page.


Does Design Theatre ship to multiple addresses?

Unfortunately, you may only ship to one address per order.
If your order contains gifts or items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address. For corporate orders, please care@designtheatre.in for assistance.

Do I need to sign for my order?

Due to the high value of the goods that we sell, we require proof of delivery for all orders. This means we are unable to authorise packages to be delivered without a signature.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.

Can I add items to an existing order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. If you would like all your items to be delivered together, you will need to cancel your order(s) and place a new order which contains all the items you require.

How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?

After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received. Your card will only be debited at time of dispatch. In the rare instance that any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you by email and will only charge your credit card for the value of the items in stock.

Can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and a tracking number. If you have registered, you will be able to view and track the status of your shipment by signing in and selecting MY ACCOUNT followed by ORDER STATUS.

Where is my order?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, Design Theatre is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and a tracking number. If you have registered, you will be able to view and track the status of your shipment by signing in and selecting MY ACCOUNT followed by ORDER STATUS. If you are not registered, sign up now so you can track future orders.

Why are shipping restrictions applied to some items?

Due to domestic and international trading agreements and regulations, Design Theatre is obliged to adhere to particular shipping restrictions.
As a result, we are unable to dispatch items made of exotic skins outside of the EU. In addition, some products manufactured in China and fine jewellery of certain compositions, are not allowed to be shipped to some countries.
If you add a product to your shopping bag that we are not permitted to ship to your country, the site will automatically identify it and prompt you to remove it. To proceed with purchasing this item, you would need to ship it to a different destination address. In the case of exotic skins, this would need to be within the EU. For more information, please read our SHIPPING INFORMATION.

How much duties and taxes will I have to pay?

For Indian Customers.
Product prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties.
For International Customers.
Product Prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.

Is my package insured?

All items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from Design Theatre to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance.
If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged box.

What packaging will my order be shipped in?

Your order will be delivered to you in our luxurious signature black boxes* which not only look fabulous, but make the perfect storage solution!
*We are unfortunately only able to include one box per order.

Does Design Theatre have seasonal sales?

Design Theatre, like offline shops, offers seasonal sales. There are links to the SALE page from the CLOTHING, BAGS, SHOES and ACCESSORIES pages in the top navigation bar. Please note that Design Theatre cannot guarantee that its prices will be equivalent or equal to offline boutiques when they go on sale. Also, due to the exclusive nature of our stock, we can’t guarantee that an item will still be available for purchase late in the season.

Is my personal information kept private?

Please be assured that your personal information is kept private and confidential and at no point will we rent or sell this.
To register at Design Theatre, we will need to know your name, mailing address and email address. When processing your order online we require your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. If necessary, these details may be shared with a credit reference agency to verify your order.
Please note that Design Theatre may use your contact details to inform you of the latest arrivals from your favourite designers and fabulous new services via email. If you would prefer not to receive these updates, please email unsubscribe@designtheatre.in

What are cookies? Should I be worried about them?

A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer’s hard drive by your web browser which tracks your movements within websites. We use cookies to keep track of how often you visit our website, the contents of your shopping bag, previous purchases and to deliver content specific to your interests. They are designed to assist your shopping and are therefore nothing to worry about. Most browsers are automatically set up to accept cookies, but usually you can alter the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance. If you choose not to receive cookies, you may still use most of the features of our website, including the ability to purchase items.
Registered customers who have cookies enabled will be automatically recognized when they visit Design Theatre – your name will appear in a welcome message at the top left hand corner of the website. You will be able to access your Wish List and then add or move items, register interest for pieces not yet in stock or request item updates without signing in to your account.
When you proceed to purchase you will be prompted to enter your email address and password and review your shipping and payment details before completing your order. Please note that registered customers will be recognized for 14 days. After this time, users will be prompted to sign back in to their account.
